Enlightenment and education
Our activities also include organization of seminars for children, schools and representatives of public administration which focus on safe routes to school. We also try to contribute with advice and help, to those who turn to us particularly in the matters of calming down traffic and support of sustainable transport.
In April 2010, we took part in the organization of an international conference “The City for Children,” where pupils from 12 Prague and outside-of-Prague schools presented their school (or community) traffic projects accompanied by pupils from a school in Berlin and York, England. The children presented the development of their projects and described the most interesting outcomes, moments and experience from their implementation.
The conference was followed by a workshop in Masarykova Elementary School in Klánovice, where foreign children along with Czech children tried to express, through paintings (and other artwork) their idea of an ideal public space in the city.
